Did you know Ivy Tech Community College offers a free Information Technology (IT) certificate program in Valparaiso, Noblesville, Gary, Indianapolis, and Fort Wayne?

That’s right, CompTIA A+ is a FREE certificate program that gives you the chance to earn $15-$18 per hour working on computers!

What Does this Program Do?

This program will give students a chance to learn the technical skills needed for troubleshooting, networking and security.

Do you find yourself staying updated with the latest gadgets and technology trends? If so, then maybe IT is your calling. The CompTIA A+ program at Ivy Tech gives students between the age of 17-29 and all veterans, a chance to earn a credential for free. In addition, the program provides assistance to students, such as transportation costs and childcare.

CompTIA A+ begins with classroom work and provides students with an 8-week internship to gain real-world experience, with hands-on training in the classroom. In addition, these courses will prepare students for the CompTIA A+ certification test.

This CompTIA A+ program is funded by the U.S. Department of Labor, allowing Ivy Tech train nearly 400 students over the course of four years.
